How to Replace the Battery in a 2004 Mitsubishi Eclipse Key Fob

Key fob allow access to your car. If the key fob battery is weak or dead you will lose your keyless entry fob's ability to use distance functions. It's not complicated to change the battery in your key fob with our instruction. All tools, that you need is explained in this post.

Before beginning open remote key fob make sure that you have all recommended tools and materials: flat head screwdriver and one CR2032 battery.- flat head screwdriver
- 1xCR2032 battery
Simple steps to replace the battery in your car's keyless entry remote
Inside of your key fob installed small coin cell battery. Carefully try to open your remote key fob with hands or flat head screwdriver. Replace one CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Change old battery with fresh one CR2032. Be sure to connect the battery the right way around in a circuit. Your key fob will not work if you put battery wrong way.
When the new battery installed, check key fob functionality by pressing buttons. If everything is functioning, assemble your keyless entry fob's case in reverse order.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Gently try to put the pieces in place by hands from top to bottom. Check your keyless entry remote body for gaps. If it is not firmly closed try to repeat last step.
