How to Open Your 2004 Nissan 350Z Key Fob & Change Battery

Before starting disassembly keyless entry remote be sure that you have all required tools and materials: flat head screwdriver and 1 CR2025 battery.- flat head screwdriver

Step by step instruction
A small button cell battery installed in the your keyless entry remote. Delicately try to pry apart your remote key fob with flat head screwdriver. Change 1 CR2025 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Get new battery and install it inside keyless entry fob's body. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the current cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check polarity on battery, by "+" mark.
After the new battery installed, verify remote key fob functionality by pressing buttons. If all functions works, assemble your fob’s body in reverse order.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Gently try to put the two halves together by hands from top to bottom. Inspect your fob shell for gaps. If it is not firmly closed try to repeat last step.
