Simple steps to change the battery in your xA's key fob
A small button cell battery installed inside the your remote key fob. Gently try to disassemble your keyless entry remote with pry tools. Remove CR2025 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Now it's time to install new battery inside fob’s shell. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the charge cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check polarity on battery, by "+" mark.
Before assembling fob’s case, make sure that all is functioning by pressing buttons on circuit board.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Gently try to assemble the two halves in place by hands from top to bottom. Inspect your remote key fob body for gaps. If it is not firmly closed try to repeat last step.
