How to Replace the Battery in a 2004 Subaru Outback Key Fob

What kind of battery key fob require
Prior to open keyless entry remote be sure that you have all recommended tools and materials: flat head screwdriver and 1 CR2025 battery.- 1xCR2025 battery

Step by step guide
A button battery installed inside the your keyless entry remote. Delicately try to pry apart your key fob with flat head screwdriver. Change 1 CR2025 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Replace old battery with new one CR2025. Battery must be placed with the same polarity as was an old. Your keyless entry remote will not work if you mistakenly put battery wrong way.
After the new battery installed, verify remote key fob by pressing buttons. If all functions works, assemble your keyless entry fob's shell in reverse order.
At this point squeeze fob’s back cover together. Line your body two halves together and assemble it together by hands from top to bottom. If your remote key fob body firmly closed, we done. If not, repeat the last step.
