Don't forget before disassembly key fob check all that you need: CR2032 battery and flat head screwdriver.- flat head screwdriver

Simple steps to change the battery in your Esteem's key fob
A coin cell battery installed inside the your remote key fob. Gently try to open your key fob with pry tools. Remove 1xCR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Get new battery and install it in fob’s body. Be sure to connect the battery the right way around in a circuit. Your key fob will not work if you put battery wrong way.
After the new battery installed, verify remote key fob functionality by pressing buttons. If all functions works, assemble your fob’s shell in reverse order.
At this point squeeze keyless entry fob's back cover together. Line your body two halves together and put it together by hands from top to bottom. Check your fob body for gaps. If it is not firmly closed try to repeat last step.
