How to Replace the Battery in a 2005 Acura RL Key Fob
If your auto key is no longer unlock doors well, the cell battery most likely needs to be changed. Below, we described how to disassembly your remote key fob and change your Acura key battery.

Simple steps to replace the battery in your car's key fob
A small button battery installed in the your keyless entry remote. Unscrew the back of the keyless entry remote. Spin the keyless entry remote over and look for at least 1 fastener holding in the plastic.
Gently try to open your fob with pry tools. Remove 2 CR2025 batteries with flat head screwdriver.
Get new batteries and install it in fob’s body. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the current cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check position on battery, by "+" mark.
Before assembling keyless entry fob's case, make sure that all functions works by pressing buttons on keyless entry remote.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Gently try to put the two halves in place by hands from top to bottom. Check your key fob body for gaps. If it is not tightly closed try to repeat last step. Screw fastener in the back of the key fob.
