Prior to open key fob be sure that you have all recommended tools and materials: flat head screwdriver and 1 CR2032 battery.- flat head screwdriver

Simple steps to replace the battery in your car's remote key fob
A small coin cell battery installed inside the your keyless entry remote. Gently try to disassemble your fob with flat head screwdriver. Remove CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Get new battery and install it inside fob’s case. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the charge cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check polarity on battery, by "+" mark.
Before assembling fob’s case, check that all functions works by testing buttons on key fob.
At this point squeeze fob’s back cover together. Line your case pieces together and put it together by hands from top to bottom. If your remote key fob case firmly closed, we done. If not, repeat the last step.
