Simple steps to replace the battery in your car's remote key fob
Inside of your remote key fob installed small coin battery. Gently try to open your key with flat head screwdriver. Remove 2 CR2016 batteries with flat head screwdriver.
Replace old batteries with fresh one CR2016. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the current cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check position on battery, by "+" mark.
When the new batteries installed, check key fob functionality by pressing buttons. If everything working properly, assemble your keyless entry fob's shell in reverse order.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Accurately try to put the two halves in place by hands from top to bottom. If your remote key fob shell firmly closed, we done. If not, repeat the last step.
