Simple steps to change the battery in your car's key fob
A small coin battery installed in the your remote key fob. Carefully try to pry apart your fob with flat head screwdriver. Remove 1 CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Now it's time to install new battery in keyless entry fob's case. Battery must be placed with the same polarity as was an old. Your key fob will not work if you mistakenly place battery wrong way.
When the new battery installed, check keyless entry remote by pressing buttons. If all functions works, assemble your keyless entry fob's body in reverse order.
At this point squeeze fob’s back cover together. Line your shell two halves together and put it in place by hands from top to bottom. Inspect your key shell for gaps. If it is not firmly closed try to repeat last step.
