Simple steps to replace the battery in your Tucson's keyless entry remote
A small coin battery installed in the your keyless entry remote. Carefully try to disassemble your key fob with flat head screwdriver. Remove CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Now it's time to install new battery inside fob’s shell. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the current cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check polarity on battery, by "+" mark.
After the new battery installed, check key fob by pressing buttons. If everything is functioning, assemble your keyless entry fob's case in reverse order.
At this point squeeze fob’s back cover together. Line your body two halves together and put it together by hands from top to bottom. Check your key fob body for gaps. If it is not tightly closed try to repeat last step.
