How to Replace the Battery in a 2005 Jaguar XJ8 Key Fob

Step by step guide
Inside of your keyless entry remote installed tiny button cell battery. Open the key if it is in the keyless entry remote.
Gently try to pry apart your keyless entry remote with hands or flat head screwdriver. Change one CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Get new battery and install it inside keyless entry fob's body. Battery must be placed with the same position as was an old. Your key fob will not work if you by mistake put battery wrong way.
Before assembling keyless entry fob's case, check that all working good by pressing buttons on keyless entry remote.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Carefully try to put the two halves together by hands from top to bottom. Check your fob shell for gaps. If it is not firmly closed try to repeat last step.
