How to Open Your 2005 Jaguar XJR Key Fob and Change Battery

Key fob allow easy access to your XJR. Once the key fob battery is discharged you not to be able lock car from distance. In this post, we are going to tell you how to open your remote key fob and replace a dead or weak battery yourself. What is the battery remote key fob require
Before you start to disassembly keyless entry remote check all that you need: flat head screwdriver and 1xCR2032 battery.- 1xCR2032 battery

Step by step instruction
Inside of your remote key fob installed button cell battery. Open key first, and then try to pry apart the key fob.
Delicately try to pry apart your keyless entry remote with flat head screwdriver. Remove one CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Now it's time to install new battery inside fob’s body. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the charge cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check position on battery, by "+" mark.
Before assembling fob’s case, make sure that all functions works by pressing buttons on key fob.
At this point squeeze keyless entry fob's back cover together. Line your case two halves together and assemble it together by hands from top to bottom. Check your key shell for gaps. If it is not firmly closed try to repeat last step.
