Simple steps to replace the battery in your car's remote key fob
A tiny button battery installed inside the your keyless entry remote. Move the key out of the way if it is in the remote key fob.
Accurately try to pry apart your key fob with hands or flat head screwdriver. Change 2xCR2025 batteries with flat head screwdriver.
Now it's time to install new batteries inside fob’s shell. Be sure to connect the battery the right way around in a circuit. Your key fob will not work if you connect battery wrong way.
Before assembling keyless entry fob's case, make sure that all working properly by pressing buttons on circuit board.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Gently try to put the pieces in place by hands from top to bottom. Inspect your remote key fob body for gaps. If it is not tightly closed try to repeat last step.
