2005 Mercedes-Benz SLK350 Key Fob Battery Replacement Instructions

Replacing batteries in key fob require CR2025 batteries and flat head screwdriver. Prepare these materials and tools before opening and make sure to match the size of your fob’s batteries.- 2xCR2025 batteries

Step by step instruction
A small coin battery installed in the your keyless entry remote. Move the key out of the way if it is in the key fob.
Delicately try to pry apart your fob with pry tools. Replace two CR2025 batteries with flat head screwdriver.
Now it's time to install new batteries inside fob’s shell. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the current cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check polarity on battery, by "+" mark.
After the new batteries installed, check keyless entry remote functionality by pressing buttons. If everything working fine, assemble your fob’s body in reverse order.
At this point squeeze keyless entry fob's back cover together. Line your case pieces together and assemble it together by hands from top to bottom. If your key shell tightly closed, we done. If not, repeat the last step.
