How to Replace the Battery in a 2006 Acura MDX Key Fob

Before going to disassembly key fob check all that you need: phillips head screwdriver, 1 CR2025 battery and flat head screwdriver.- flat head screwdriver

Step by step guide
A button cell battery installed in the your key fob. Remove screw on the back of the remote key fob. Flip the keyless entry remote over and look for at least one screw holding in the plastic.
Accurately try to open your keyless entry remote with flat head screwdriver. Replace 1xCR2025 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Replace old battery with fresh one CR2025. Battery must be installed with the same polarity as was an old. Your key will not work if you mistakenly put battery wrong way.
When the new battery installed, check remote key fob by pressing buttons. If all functions works, assemble your fob’s body in reverse order.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Carefully try to assemble the pieces in place by hands from top to bottom. Inspect your key body for gaps. If it is not tightly closed try to repeat last step. Screw fastener in the back of the remote key fob.
