Simple steps to replace the battery in your Monte Carlo's keyless entry remote
Inside of your keyless entry remote installed tiny button cell battery. Carefully try to pry apart your key with hands or flat head screwdriver. Change CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Change old battery with new one CR2032. Battery must be installed with the same polarity as was a previous. Your keyless entry remote will not work if you mistakenly put battery wrong way.
Before assembling fob’s case, verify that all functions works by testing buttons on key fob.
At this point squeeze keyless entry fob's back cover together. Line your body two halves together and assemble it in place by hands from top to bottom. If your fob body tightly closed, we done. If not, repeat the last step.
