How to Open Your 2006 Ford E-350 Key Fob & Change Battery
If your car key fob is no longer open doors well, the battery likely needs to be replaced. In this article, you will benefit from knowing how to disassembly your keyless entry remote and change a discharged battery yourself. If you decide to do it at home near E-350, follow our guide, but first make sure you have tools and materials required.
What is the battery key fob requireBefore beginning disassembly key fob make sure that you have all recommended tools and materials: flat head screwdriver and 1 CR2032 battery.

Step by step instruction
Inside of your remote key fob installed button cell battery. Gently try to disassemble your remote key fob with hands or flat head screwdriver. Remove 1 CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Now it's time to install new battery in fob’s shell. Be sure to connect the battery the right way around in a circuit. Your keyless entry remote will not work if you place battery wrong way.
After the new battery installed, verify key fob by pressing buttons. If everything is functioning, assemble your fob’s shell in reverse order.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Carefully try to put the pieces in place by hands from top to bottom. Check your key fob case for gaps. If it is not firmly closed try to repeat last step.
