2006 Ford Thunderbird Key Fob Battery Replacement Instructions

If your Ford remote key fob is not unlock doors well, the battery more likely needs to be changed. It's not difficult to change the battery in your key fob, and it’s easier than you think. Everything you need is outlined in this post.
What type battery remote key fob use
Prior to disassembly key fob check all that you need: flat head screwdriver and 1xCR2032 battery.- flat head screwdriver
- 1xCR2032 battery
Simple steps to replace the battery in your car's keyless entry remote
Inside of your key fob installed tiny coin battery. Delicately try to open your remote key fob with flat head screwdriver. Change one CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Change old battery with fresh one CR2032. Battery must be placed with the same position as was a previous. Your remote key fob will not work if you mistakenly put battery wrong way.
When the new battery installed, check remote key fob by pressing buttons. If all functions works, assemble your fob’s body in reverse order.
At this point squeeze keyless entry fob's back cover together. Line your shell pieces together and assemble it in place by hands from top to bottom. Inspect your fob body for gaps. If it is not tightly closed try to repeat last step.
