Simple steps to change the battery in your Pilot's keyless entry remote
Inside of your remote key fob installed coin cell battery. Unscrew the back of the key fob. Flip the remote key fob over and find for at least 1 fastener holding in the plastic.
Carefully try to disassemble your key with flat head screwdriver. Remove CR2025 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Now it's time to install new battery inside keyless entry fob's shell. Battery must be placed with the same polarity as was a previous. Your key fob will not work if you mistakenly put battery wrong way.
After the new battery installed, verify keyless entry remote functionality by pressing buttons. If everything working fine, assemble your fob’s body in reverse order.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Delicately try to assemble the two halves together by hands from top to bottom. If your keyless entry remote shell firmly closed, we done. If not, repeat the last step. Screw fastener in the back of the remote key fob.
