How to Open Your 2006 Lexus GS 430 Key Fob and Change Battery

Keyless entry remote allow access to your car. Once the key battery is weak you lose your keyless entry fob's ability to use remote opening function. Before starting disassembly keyless entry remote make sure that you have all recommended tools and materials: CR1632 battery and flat head screwdriver.- flat head screwdriver

Simple steps to replace the battery in your car's remote key fob
Inside of your keyless entry remote installed coin cell battery. Move the key out of the way if it is in the keyless entry remote.
Gently try to open your keyless entry remote with hands or flat head screwdriver. Remove CR1632 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Change old battery with fresh one CR1632. Battery must be installed with the same position as was a previous. Your remote key fob will not work if you mistakenly place battery wrong way.
Before assembling fob’s case, verify that all functions works by testing buttons on keyless entry remote.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Gently try to assemble the pieces together by hands from top to bottom. Inspect your fob shell for gaps. If it is not tightly closed try to repeat last step.
