Simple steps to replace the battery in your car's key fob
A tiny coin cell battery installed in the your remote key fob. Remove any internal key first, and then try to pry apart the keyless entry remote.
Carefully try to pry apart your remote key fob with flat head screwdriver. Change one CR1632 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Get new battery and install it inside keyless entry fob's body. Battery must be placed with the same position as was an old. Your keyless entry remote will not work if you mistakenly put battery wrong way.
After the new battery installed, check keyless entry remote by pressing buttons. If all functions works, assemble your fob’s case in reverse order.
At this point squeeze fob’s back cover together. Line your body two halves together and assemble it in place by hands from top to bottom. If your remote key fob body firmly closed, we done. If not, repeat the last step.
