Simple steps to change the battery in your Town Car's remote key fob
Inside of your remote key fob installed button battery. Gently try to disassemble your keyless entry remote with pry tools. Replace 1xCR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Replace old battery with new one CR2032. Be sure to connect the battery the right way around in a circuit. Your remote key fob will not work if you connect battery wrong way.
After the new battery installed, verify key fob functionality by pressing buttons. If all functions works, assemble your keyless entry fob's shell in reverse order.
At this point squeeze keyless entry fob's back cover together. Line your shell two halves together and assemble it in place by hands from top to bottom. Inspect your key body for gaps. If it is not tightly closed try to repeat last step.
