Simple steps to change the battery in your car's remote key fob
Inside of your remote key fob installed tiny coin cell battery. Move the key out of the way if it is in the remote key fob.
Accurately try to open your remote key fob with hands or flat head screwdriver. Remove 2xCR2025 batteries with flat head screwdriver.
Get new batteries and install it in fob’s case. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the current cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check polarity on battery, by "+" mark.
After the new batteries installed, verify remote key fob by pressing buttons. If everything is functioning, assemble your keyless entry fob's shell in reverse order.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Carefully try to put the two halves together by hands from top to bottom. Inspect your key fob shell for gaps. If it is not tightly closed try to repeat last step.
