Simple steps to change the battery in your Eclipse's key fob
A small button battery installed in the your key fob. Accurately try to open your fob with flat head screwdriver. Replace 1xCR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Now it's time to install new battery inside keyless entry fob's shell. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the charge cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check polarity on battery, by "+" mark.
After the new battery installed, check key fob by pressing buttons. If everything is functioning, assemble your fob’s case in reverse order.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Carefully try to assemble the pieces in place by hands from top to bottom. If your keyless entry remote shell firmly closed, we done. If not, repeat the last step.
