2006 Pontiac Solstice Key Fob Battery Replacement Instructions

If your auto key fob is not unlock doors properly, the battery more likely needs to be changed. In this post, we outlined how to open your car key fob and change your Pontiac key battery.
What is the battery keyless entry remote use
Before going to disassembly remote key fob check all that you need: one CR2032 battery and flat head screwdriver.- 1xCR2032 battery

Simple steps to change the battery in your Solstice's keyless entry remote
Inside of your remote key fob installed small button cell battery. Accurately try to pry apart your key with flat head screwdriver. Remove 1 CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Get new battery and install it in fob’s case. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the charge cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check polarity on battery, by "+" mark.
After the new battery installed, check key fob by pressing buttons. If everything working properly, assemble your fob’s case in reverse order.
At this point squeeze fob’s back cover together. Line your shell pieces together and put it together by hands from top to bottom. If your key shell firmly closed, we done. If not, repeat the last step.
