How to Open Your 2006 Toyota Avalon Key Fob & Change Battery

Prior to open remote key fob be sure that you have all recommended tools and materials: CR1632 battery, phillips head screwdriver and flat head screwdriver.- phillips head screwdriver

Step by step guide
A small button battery installed in the your keyless entry remote. Remove fasteners on the back of the remote key fob. Flip the keyless entry remote over and find for at least one screw holding in the plastic.
Delicately try to open your keyless entry remote with flat head screwdriver. Replace one CR1632 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Get new battery and install it in fob’s shell. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the charge cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check polarity on battery, by "+" mark.
After the new battery installed, check remote key fob by pressing buttons. If everything working fine, assemble your fob’s shell in reverse order.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Gently try to put the pieces together by hands from top to bottom. If your remote key fob shell firmly closed, we done. If not, repeat the last step. Screw the back of the key fob.
