Simple steps to change the battery in your Camry's key fob
A tiny button cell battery installed inside the your key fob. Remove fasteners on the back of the remote key fob. Spin the remote key fob over and look for at least one screw holding in the plastic.
Carefully try to disassemble your keyless entry remote with pry tools. Change CR2016 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Now it's time to install new battery inside fob’s case. Battery must be installed with the same polarity as was a previous. Your key will not work if you by mistake place battery wrong way.
When the new battery installed, verify keyless entry remote functionality by pressing buttons. If all functions works, assemble your keyless entry fob's shell in reverse order.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Carefully try to assemble the pieces together by hands from top to bottom. If your fob shell firmly closed, we done. If not, repeat the last step. Screw the back of the keyless entry remote.
