Step by step instruction
A coin cell battery installed inside the your remote key fob. Unscrew the back of the key fob. Flip the key fob over and find for at least one screw holding in the plastic.
Accurately try to pry apart your fob with pry tools. Replace one CR2016 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Change old battery with new one CR2016. Battery must be placed with the same position as was an old. Your keyless entry remote will not work if you by mistake put battery wrong way.
After the new battery installed, verify remote key fob by pressing buttons. If all functions works, assemble your fob’s body in reverse order.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Delicately try to assemble the two halves together by hands from top to bottom. Check your remote key fob case for gaps. If it is not firmly closed try to repeat last step. Screw the back of the remote key fob.
