Simple steps to replace the battery in your Sienna's remote key fob
A small coin battery installed inside the your key fob. Remove fasteners on the back of the key fob. Spin the key fob over and look for at least 1 fastener holding in the plastic.
Delicately try to pry apart your remote key fob with flat head screwdriver. Remove 1xCR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Get new battery and install it inside fob’s shell. Battery must be placed with the same position as was a previous. Your remote key fob will not work if you mistakenly put battery wrong way.
After the new battery installed, check remote key fob functionality by pressing buttons. If all functions works, assemble your keyless entry fob's shell in reverse order.
At this point squeeze keyless entry fob's back cover together. Line your shell two halves together and put it in place by hands from top to bottom. If your fob shell tightly closed, we done. If not, repeat the last step. Screw fastener in the back of the keyless entry remote.
