Simple steps to replace the battery in your car's key fob
Inside of your key fob installed button cell battery. Open the key if it is in the keyless entry remote.
Delicately try to disassemble your key fob with pry tools. Remove 1xCR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Change old battery with fresh one CR2032. Battery must be placed with the same polarity as was an old. Your remote key fob will not work if you by mistake place battery wrong way.
Before assembling fob’s case, check that all functions works by pressing buttons on circuit board.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Carefully try to put the two halves together by hands from top to bottom. Check your key fob case for gaps. If it is not firmly closed try to repeat last step.
