Step by step instruction
A tiny button cell battery installed in the your key fob. Open key first, and then try to pry apart the remote key fob.
Gently try to open your remote key fob with flat head screwdriver. Replace CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Change old battery with new one CR2032. Battery must be placed with the same position as was an old. Your keyless entry remote will not work if you mistakenly place battery wrong way.
After the new battery installed, check remote key fob by pressing buttons. If all functions works, assemble your fob’s shell in reverse order.
At this point squeeze fob’s back cover together. Line your body pieces together and put it in place by hands from top to bottom. Inspect your key fob shell for gaps. If it is not tightly closed try to repeat last step.
