2007 Acura MDX Key Fob Battery Replacement Instructions

Changing battery in key fob require phillips head screwdriver, flat head screwdriver and 1xCR1616 battery. Prepare these materials and tools before opening and make sure to match the type of your keyless entry fob's batteries.- phillips head screwdriver

Simple steps to replace the battery in your MDX's remote key fob
A tiny button battery installed inside the your key fob. Unscrew the back of the keyless entry remote. Flip the key fob over and look for at least 1 fastener holding in the plastic.
Carefully try to pry apart your keyless entry remote with flat head screwdriver. Change CR1616 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Replace old battery with new one CR1616. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the current cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check position on battery, by "+" mark.
Before assembling fob’s case, make sure that everything working properly by testing buttons on circuit board.
At this point squeeze fob’s back cover together. Line your case pieces together and put it together by hands from top to bottom. Check your remote key fob case for gaps. If it is not tightly closed try to repeat last step. Screw the back of the keyless entry remote.
