How to Replace the Battery in a 2007 Audi A4 Key Fob

If your auto key fob is no longer working correct, the cell battery likely needs to be replaced. Below, we outlined how to disassembly your keyless entry remote and replace your Audi key battery step by step.

Don't forget before open key fob check all that you need: flat head screwdriver and 1xCR2032 battery.- 1xCR2032 battery

Step by step guide
Inside of your key fob installed tiny button battery. Open the key if it is in the key fob.
Accurately try to open your keyless entry remote with pry tools. Change CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Get new battery and install it inside fob’s shell. Battery must be placed with the same position as was an old. Your key will not work if you by mistake place battery wrong way.
When the new battery installed, check key fob functionality by pressing buttons. If everything is functioning, assemble your keyless entry fob's shell in reverse order.
At this point squeeze fob’s back cover together. Line your body two halves together and put it in place by hands from top to bottom. Inspect your keyless entry remote shell for gaps. If it is not tightly closed try to repeat last step.
