How to Replace the Battery in a 2007 Jeep Patriot Key Fob

Replacing battery in keyless entry remote require CR2032 battery and flat head screwdriver. Prepare these materials and tools before opening and make sure to match the size of your keyless entry fob's batteries.- 1xCR2032 battery

Step by step instruction
Inside of your keyless entry remote installed small coin battery. Carefully try to open your keyless entry remote with flat head screwdriver. Change CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Replace old battery with new one CR2032. Battery must be placed with the same polarity as was a previous. Your key fob will not work if you by mistake put battery wrong way.
When the new battery installed, check key fob by pressing buttons. If all functions works, assemble your keyless entry fob's case in reverse order.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Carefully try to put the two halves in place by hands from top to bottom. Check your keyless entry remote shell for gaps. If it is not firmly closed try to repeat last step.
