Simple steps to change the battery in your car's remote key fob
Inside of your keyless entry remote installed button cell battery. Open key before you try to pry apart the keyless entry remote.
Gently try to disassemble your key with pry tools. VL2330 is rechargeable battery. To remove it from a remote key fob soldering iron required.
Change old battery with fresh one VL2330. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the charge cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check position on battery, by "+" mark.
After the new battery installed, check remote key fob by pressing buttons. If everything is functioning, assemble your fob’s body in reverse order.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Carefully try to assemble the two halves together by hands from top to bottom. Inspect your key case for gaps. If it is not firmly closed try to repeat last step.
