Simple steps to change the battery in your car's key fob
Inside of your remote key fob installed tiny button battery. Move the key out of the way if it is in the keyless entry remote.
Carefully try to disassemble your key fob with pry tools. Change CR2016 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Change old battery with fresh one CR2016. Battery must be placed with the same position as was an old. Your key fob will not work if you by mistake put battery wrong way.
When the new battery installed, verify keyless entry remote functionality by pressing buttons. If everything is functioning, assemble your fob’s case in reverse order.
At this point squeeze keyless entry fob's back cover together. Line your body pieces together and put it in place by hands from top to bottom. Inspect your keyless entry remote case for gaps. If it is not tightly closed try to repeat last step.
