Simple steps to replace the battery in your RX 400h's keyless entry remote
Inside of your keyless entry remote installed tiny button cell battery. Move the key out of the way if it is in the remote key fob.
Carefully try to pry apart your key with flat head screwdriver. Remove 1 CR1632 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Now it's time to install new battery in fob’s shell. Be sure to connect the battery the right way around in a circuit. Your keyless entry remote will not work if you place battery wrong way.
Before assembling keyless entry fob's case, check that all functions works by pressing buttons on circuit board.
At this point squeeze fob’s back cover together. Line your case two halves together and put it in place by hands from top to bottom. If your remote key fob shell firmly closed, we done. If not, repeat the last step.
