Simple steps to change the battery in your CLS550's remote key fob
Inside of your key fob installed small button cell battery. Move the key out of the way if it is in the keyless entry remote.
Carefully try to disassemble your key with pry tools. Replace two CR2025 batteries with flat head screwdriver.
Get new batteries and install it inside keyless entry fob's shell. Be sure to connect the battery the right way around in a circuit. Your key will not work if you put battery wrong way.
After the new batteries installed, verify remote key fob by pressing buttons. If all functions works, assemble your keyless entry fob's body in reverse order.
At this point squeeze keyless entry fob's back cover together. Line your body pieces together and put it together by hands from top to bottom. Check your fob case for gaps. If it is not tightly closed try to repeat last step.
