How to Replace the Battery in a 2007 Mercedes-Benz E500 Key Fob

Step by step guide
A small button cell battery installed in the your keyless entry remote. Remove any internal key before you try to pry apart the key fob.
Carefully try to pry apart your keyless entry remote with pry tools. Change two CR2025 batteries with flat head screwdriver.
Change old batteries with new one CR2025. Battery must be installed with the same polarity as was a previous. Your remote key fob will not work if you mistakenly place battery wrong way.
When the new batteries installed, check key fob by pressing buttons. If everything working good, assemble your keyless entry fob's body in reverse order.
At this point squeeze keyless entry fob's back cover together. Line your shell pieces together and put it together by hands from top to bottom. If your fob body firmly closed, we done. If not, repeat the last step.
