Step by step instruction
A tiny button cell battery installed in the your key fob. Move the key out of the way if it is in the keyless entry remote.
Accurately try to disassemble your keyless entry remote with hands or flat head screwdriver. Replace 2 CR2025 batteries with flat head screwdriver.
Get new batteries and install it in keyless entry fob's body. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the current cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check polarity on battery, by "+" mark.
When the new batteries installed, check key fob by pressing buttons. If all functions works, assemble your keyless entry fob's shell in reverse order.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Gently try to put the pieces together by hands from top to bottom. If your remote key fob shell firmly closed, we done. If not, repeat the last step.
