Before you start to disassembly keyless entry remote check all that you need: flat head screwdriver, one CR2016 battery and phillips head screwdriver.- phillips head screwdriver

Simple steps to replace the battery in your car's key fob
Inside of your keyless entry remote installed button battery. Unscrew the back of the remote key fob. Spin the keyless entry remote over and look for at least 1 fastener holding in the plastic.
Gently try to disassemble your key with flat head screwdriver. Replace 1xCR2016 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Replace old battery with fresh one CR2016. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the charge cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check polarity on battery, by "+" mark.
Before assembling keyless entry fob's case, verify that everything is functioning by testing buttons on circuit board.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Carefully try to put the pieces together by hands from top to bottom. Inspect your keyless entry remote body for gaps. If it is not firmly closed try to repeat last step. Screw fastener in the back of the keyless entry remote.
