How to Replace the Battery in a 2007 Toyota Highlander Key Fob

Before beginning open keyless entry remote check all that you need: phillips head screwdriver, flat head screwdriver and 1 CR2032 battery.- flat head screwdriver

Step by step instruction
Inside of your key fob installed coin battery. Remove fasteners on the back of the keyless entry remote. Spin the key fob over and find for at least 1 fastener holding in the plastic.
Gently try to pry apart your remote key fob with flat head screwdriver. Remove 1 CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Get new battery and install it inside fob’s shell. Be sure to connect the battery the right way around in a circuit. Your keyless entry remote will not work if you place battery wrong way.
After the new battery installed, check key fob by pressing buttons. If all functions works, assemble your keyless entry fob's body in reverse order.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Gently try to put the two halves in place by hands from top to bottom. If your key fob case firmly closed, we done. If not, repeat the last step. Screw fastener in the back of the remote key fob.
