How to Replace the Battery in a 2008 Acura RL Key Fob

Changing batteries in key fob require phillips head screwdriver, flat head screwdriver and CR2025 batteries. Prepare these materials and tools before opening and make sure to match the size of your fob’s batteries.- flat head screwdriver

Simple steps to change the battery in your car's key fob
Inside of your keyless entry remote installed tiny coin battery. Remove fasteners on the back of the remote key fob. Spin the keyless entry remote over and look for at least 1 fastener holding in the plastic.
Accurately try to pry apart your fob with hands or flat head screwdriver. Change 2xCR2025 batteries with flat head screwdriver.
Change old batteries with fresh one CR2025. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the current cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check polarity on battery, by "+" mark.
When the new batteries installed, verify keyless entry remote by pressing buttons. If all functions works, assemble your keyless entry fob's shell in reverse order.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Carefully try to assemble the two halves together by hands from top to bottom. Inspect your key fob case for gaps. If it is not firmly closed try to repeat last step. Screw fastener in the back of the keyless entry remote.
