How to Open Your 2008 Audi A5 Key Fob and Change Battery

Changing battery in remote key fob require 1 CR2032 battery and flat head screwdriver. Prepare these materials and tools before opening and make sure to match the type of your fob’s batteries.- flat head screwdriver

Step by step instruction
A tiny coin cell battery installed inside the your keyless entry remote. Open the key if it is in the remote key fob.
Gently try to open your key fob with hands or flat head screwdriver. Replace CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Now it's time to install new battery in keyless entry fob's case. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the charge cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check position on battery, by "+" mark.
After the new battery installed, check remote key fob by pressing buttons. If everything is functioning, assemble your fob’s shell in reverse order.
At this point squeeze keyless entry fob's back cover together. Line your case two halves together and put it together by hands from top to bottom. Inspect your remote key fob shell for gaps. If it is not firmly closed try to repeat last step.
