If your Audi keyless entry remote is no longer working well, the cell battery probably needs to be replaced. Below, we demonstrate how to disassembly Audi remote key fob and replace a discharged battery yourself. What type battery key fob require
Before starting disassembly remote key fob be sure that you have all required tools and materials: flat head screwdriver and CR2032 battery.- flat head screwdriver

Simple steps to replace the battery in your S5's keyless entry remote
Inside of your keyless entry remote installed small coin battery. Open key first, and then try to pry apart the key fob.
Accurately try to pry apart your remote key fob with hands or flat head screwdriver. Remove 1xCR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Now it's time to install new battery in keyless entry fob's case. Be sure to connect the battery the right way around in a circuit. Your remote key fob will not work if you place battery wrong way.
After the new battery installed, check key fob functionality by pressing buttons. If everything is functioning, assemble your fob’s case in reverse order.
At this point squeeze fob’s back cover together. Line your case two halves together and assemble it together by hands from top to bottom. If your remote key fob shell firmly closed, we done. If not, repeat the last step.
