2008 BMW 3-Series Key Fob Battery Replacement Guide

What is the battery remote key fob use
Replacing battery in keyless entry remote require box cutter, flat head screwdriver, 1 CR2032 battery and super glue. Prepare these materials and tools before opening and make sure to match the type of your keyless entry fob's batteries.- 1xCR2032 battery

Simple steps to replace the battery in your car's key fob
Inside of your remote key fob installed tiny button cell battery. Remove any internal key before you try to pry apart the keyless entry remote. To open this keyless entry remote you need scoring the edges with razor knife first.
Accurately try to open your key with flat head screwdriver. Replace CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Now it's time to install new battery inside keyless entry fob's body. Battery must be installed with the same position as was an old. Your remote key fob will not work if you mistakenly place battery wrong way.
When the new battery installed, check keyless entry remote by pressing buttons. If all functions works, assemble your keyless entry fob's body in reverse order.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Delicately try to put the two halves in place by hands from top to bottom. Inspect your key fob body for gaps. If it is not tightly closed try to repeat last step. Glue the back of the keyless entry remote.
