Simple steps to replace the battery in your car's remote key fob
Inside of your keyless entry remote installed coin battery. Carefully try to open your remote key fob with pry tools. Replace CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Replace old battery with fresh one CR2032. Battery must be placed with the same polarity as was an old. Your remote key fob will not work if you by mistake put battery wrong way.
After the new battery installed, verify remote key fob by pressing buttons. If everything working properly, assemble your fob’s body in reverse order.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Gently try to assemble the pieces in place by hands from top to bottom. Inspect your key fob body for gaps. If it is not firmly closed try to repeat last step.
