2008 Ford Expedition Key Fob Battery Replacement Guide

Before you start to disassembly key fob check all that you need: flat head screwdriver and 1 CR2032 battery.- 1xCR2032 battery

Simple steps to change the battery in your Expedition's keyless entry remote
Inside of your remote key fob installed coin battery. Accurately try to open your key fob with hands or flat head screwdriver. Change one CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Change old battery with new one CR2032. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the charge cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check position on battery, by "+" mark.
After the new battery installed, check remote key fob by pressing buttons. If all functions works, assemble your keyless entry fob's body in reverse order.
At this point squeeze fob’s back cover together. Line your shell two halves together and put it in place by hands from top to bottom. Check your fob body for gaps. If it is not tightly closed try to repeat last step.
