Simple steps to change the battery in your F-150's keyless entry remote
A button cell battery installed inside the your remote key fob. Delicately try to disassemble your fob with hands or flat head screwdriver. Change one CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Change old battery with fresh one CR2032. Battery must be placed with the same position as was a previous. Your key will not work if you mistakenly put battery wrong way.
When the new battery installed, check keyless entry remote by pressing buttons. If all functions works, assemble your keyless entry fob's case in reverse order.
At this point squeeze keyless entry fob's back cover together. Line your body pieces together and assemble it in place by hands from top to bottom. Inspect your keyless entry remote shell for gaps. If it is not tightly closed try to repeat last step.
