Changing battery in remote key fob require phillips head screwdriver, flat head screwdriver and 1 CR1616 battery. Prepare these materials and tools before opening and make sure to match the type of your fob’s batteries.- 1xCR1616 battery

Simple steps to change the battery in your Ridgeline's keyless entry remote
A small coin cell battery installed in the your key fob. Remove screw on the back of the keyless entry remote. Spin the remote key fob over and look for at least one fastener holding in the plastic.
Carefully try to open your keyless entry remote with flat head screwdriver. Change 1xCR1616 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Get new battery and install it inside fob’s shell. Battery must be installed with the same polarity as was a previous. Your key will not work if you mistakenly put battery wrong way.
After the new battery installed, verify key fob by pressing buttons. If everything is functioning, assemble your keyless entry fob's body in reverse order.
At this point squeeze keyless entry fob's back cover together. Line your shell two halves together and put it in place by hands from top to bottom. Check your fob shell for gaps. If it is not tightly closed try to repeat last step. Screw the back of the remote key fob.
